Our Team

Frank is the founder and artistic lead of TangoSparks, overseeing both creative vision and technical restoration. Based in Beijing, he studied at NYU and has lived in Argentina, Europe, and the US, dedicating over 15 years to tango music and culture.

A trained violinist, sought-after tango DJ, and music archivist, Frank combines his deep knowledge of analog sound with a collector’s eye and a curator’s care. Outside the studio, he enjoys hiking and historical research.

Wei Ching holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is also an active member of the tango community.

With extensive experience in business strategy and operations, he plays a vital role in TangoSparks’ launch and growth, advising on management structure, international partnerships, and long-term planning. A lifelong audio enthusiast, he also supports archival sourcing and technical oversight across the project.

Anthony Miller

An accomplished professional sound engineer, Anthony has played an irreplaceable role during the critical phase of acquiring the studio’s key equipment. Based in Sydney, he is a distinguished tango teacher, organizer, and owner of the Tango Spirit school. Anthony is one of the world’s most sought-after tango DJs.

Sin-Ming Shaw

Sin-Ming, the organizer of “Black-Tie Private Tango Party” in Hong Kong, has been a pivotal figure in the tango milieu for over a decade. His immeasurable contributions to the development of tango in Asia are widely recognized. Throughout the studio's creation and operation, he has generously offered invaluable guidance and insights.

Jacqueline Zhou

Jackie, an experienced milonguera and tango organizer based in Toronto, was the very first to inspire the concept of this studio during her time in New York. Since then, she has continued to share her extensive market knowledge, providing thoughtful and valuable advice for the project’s development and growth.
